In the period from June 30 to July 2, 2017, the leaders of RasonConTrans JVC carried out a working trip to St. Petersburg to meet with representatives of present and potential partner companies. The main goal of this event was to discuss further cooperation and interaction. Thus, a meeting between the director general of "RasonConTrans" JVC Ivan Tonkikh and his deputy on operational activities Eugene Sokov with technical and commercial specialists of "Mantsinen" corporation - the world leader in the production and maintenance of hydraulic manipulators for cargo handling - was held. They discussed the problems of maintenance, modernization and automation of the use of equipment manufactured by Mantsinen, which is in operation at RansonConTrans JVC (Mantsinen R120, Mantsinen R70).
Together with the specialists of the corporation they also worked out the issue of using equipment for the reloading of scrap metal and timber cargo within the frameworks of the diversification program for the cargo base of RasonConTrans JVC. Agreements to increase the level of interaction in order to gain higher efficiency of the use of hydraulic manipulators in the port of Rajin (DPRK) were reached.
Our colleagues visited "Radeks" machinery plant, which is a profile enterprise for manufacturing of specialized equipment for coal transportation and processing in seaports. The delegation of "RasonConTrans" JVC also visited production departments and design office of the enterprise. There they discussed the issues of introduction of the conveyor equipment into the cargo reloading technology at the port of Rajin using the successful practices implemented by the plant in the ports of the North-West (Rosterminalugol) and the Far Eastern region of the Russian Federation (Vostochny Port), as well as the best international practices in automation processes and reduce production costs. They agreed on the development of sketch solutions for the coal transportation complex in the port of Rajin too.
The delegation of RasonConTrans JVC visited "Mining Technologies" which is one of the largest companies in contract coal processing in seaports, the official dealer of Keestrack (Czech Republic), specialized equipment for crushing and sorting of coal. The issues of upgrading the production base of RasonConTrans JVC with Keestrack high-performance crushing and sorting equipment, the matters of spare parts delivery and service maintenance of RasonConTrans JVC equipment (DESTROYER 1313, EXPLORER 1800) in the territory of the DPRK were considered. We reached constructive agreements on the nomenclature and integration of Keestrack crushing and sorting equipment and on the possibility of introducing a heavy high-efficiency screen KEESTRACK FRONTIER into the production process, as well as on the supply of original spare parts and the possibility and the conditions of maintenance service in the port of Rajin.
