This time the meeting was completely devoted to the activities of the joint venture "RasonConTrans" and the project of "Rajin-Khasan". Oleg Kiryanov, candidate of historical science and Korean studies expert, deliver a speech on “Special Economic Zone of Rason and the project of Rajin-Khasan: Current Situation and Prospects for the development” to the conference participants.

In the course of the presentation it was told about the idea of cooperation currently being implemented as part of the project and about prospects for its development.

Particular attention was paid to what opportunities the project opened up for the South Korea from the economic and politic points of view, as well as for the development of inter-Korean ties and unification. /p>

After the speech had been made, the conference participants asked questions about the project of “Rajin-Khasan” and current state of things in the Special economic Zone of Rason and exchanged views on the prospects for inter-Korean cooperation as well as trilateral cooperation with participation of Russia, the DPRK and the Republic of Korea.
